Wuxi Hygia Hospital

Wuxi Hygia Hospital is located in the Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort, at No. 99 Meiliang Road, Mashan Subdistrict, Binhu District, Wuxi. The hospital was developed and constructed with investment from Hygia Medical Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under stock code 6078.HK.

The hospital was approved by the Wuxi Municipal Health Commission and occupies over 80 mu of land. Designed to the standards of a Grade III hospital, it is planned to have a total floor area of approximately 165,000 square meters and about 2,000 beds. In its first phase, the hospital has completed a comprehensive outpatient and medical‑technical building, an inpatient and elderly‑care building, a psychiatric rehabilitation building, and an administrative‑logistics building, with a combined floor area of 76,000 square meters. On December 15, 2025, the hospital obtained a medical institution practice license as a Grade II general hospital issued by the Wuxi Municipal Health Commission. In late June 2026, the hospital was officially designated as a participating medical institution under Wuxi’s basic medical insurance scheme, and, effective July 1, it began offering medical services payable via medical insurance card swiping.

The hospital centers on oncology as its core specialty and comprises more than ten first-level departments—including internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, otolaryngology, rehabilitation medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, emergency medicine, and psychiatry—along with over twenty second-level subspecialties. It is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, such as imported color Doppler ultrasound, CT scanners, MRI machines, gastrointestinal endoscopes, laparoscopes, hemodialysis and filtration systems, linear accelerators, and a gyroscopic rotating cobalt‑60 radiosurgical treatment system. The hospital aims to develop into a large, modern, comprehensive facility of high caliber and distinctive character, with clearly defined specialized strengths, integrating medical care and nursing, research and education, health management, palliative and rehabilitative services, and the integration of medical care and elderly care.

The hospital is situated on the shores of Lake Tai, adjacent to the scenic attractions of the Ling Shan Grand Buddha and the Nianhua Bay Zen Town.
