Wuxi Hygia Hospital was developed and constructed with investment from Hygia Medical (6078.HK). Covering an area of over 80 mu, the first phase boasts a total floor space of 76,000 square meters. With oncology diagnosis and treatment as its core specialty, the hospital has established more than 20 primary‑level departments and over 30 secondary‑level departments. A Choice That Transcends Mountains and Seas: Wuxi Haijia Hospital’s First Overseas Inpatient Discharged Successfully

Cross‑border medical ties, compassionate care knows no borders—Wuxi Haijia Hospital has added a new foothold in Central Asia to its international healthcare network.

Recently, a 5-year-old child from Kazakhstan, a Central Asian country, with a congenital thumb deformity was successfully discharged after undergoing corrective surgery at Wuxi Haijia Hospital. This follows the hospital’s earlier treatment of a Malaysian patient, marking another young patient who traveled from a country along the Belt and Road Initiative. From Southeast Asia to Central Asia, Wuxi Haijia Hospital is steadily expanding its international healthcare footprint, with its medical influence continuing to grow among overseas patient communities.

On October 16, the completion and inauguration ceremony for the Wuxi Haijia Hospital project was held with great solemnity at the hospital’s outpatient plaza. The project was invested in and constructed by Haijia Medical Group and is a major public‑welfare initiative prioritized by Binhu District in Wuxi City.

Wuxi Haijia Hospital has been designated as an internship base for the School of Life Sciences and Health Engineering at Jiangnan University.

Wuxi Haijia Nursing Home and Shuguang Technical School are jointly cultivating elderly care professionals.

On September 15, Wuxi Haijia Nursing Home and Wuxi Shuguang Technical School signed a cooperation agreement and jointly unveiled the plaque designating their joint “School–Enterprise Cooperative Internship Base.”

Take bus route 88 to the “Xueyun Road (Meiliang Road)” stop, then walk west for 300 meters to arrive. From 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, you can board the on-demand shuttle bus directly to the outpatient entrance.

Self-drive

Simply navigate to “Wuxi Hygia Hospital” or “No. 99 Meiliang Road.” On-site parking is available.

Airplane

From Shuofang Airport, take Metro Line 3 to “Wuxi Railway Station” and transfer to Bus Route 88; alternatively, take Metro Line 3 to Line 2 and get off at “Meiyuan Kaiyuan Temple Station,” then transfer to Bus Route 88.
