On October 19, Xiang Qi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Wuxi Medical College of Jiangnan University, along with Bao Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, and heads of relevant departments, paid a visit to Wuxi Haijia Hospital for a research and exchange session. Zhang Kui, President of Wuxi Haijia Hospital, together with Vice Presidents Yuan Dong and Song Sheng, and heads of pertinent functional departments, accompanied the delegation. The two sides engaged in pragmatic discussions on topics such as collaborative medical–educational talent development and graduate employment.
During the field visit, a delegation from Wuxi Medical College toured the hospital’s key functional areas. As an important component of Hygia Healthcare Group’s strategic expansion in the Yangtze River Delta, Wuxi Hygia Hospital was commended for its state-of-the-art clinical facilities and high‑standard construction. At present, the hospital is in its early stages of development, and both parties agreed to pursue in-depth collaboration in clinical education, internships, and graduate employment.
Zhang Kui, President of Wuxi Haijia Hospital, provided a detailed overview of the hospital’s talent‑acquisition plan and recruitment philosophy. He stated that, as a modern, comprehensive hospital rooted in Mashan and serving the surrounding region, the hospital is actively seeking top talent across clinical, medical‑technical, nursing, rehabilitation, and elderly‑care specialties. Upholding a pragmatic approach to talent management, the hospital places great emphasis on cultivating young professionals, particularly welcoming those who are willing to take on foundational roles. It also warmly welcomes healthcare professionals who are familiar with Wuxi’s local culture and committed to building their careers in the city. For recent graduates, so long as they are diligent and hardworking, the hospital is prepared to establish a structured platform for training and professional growth, while offering competitive salaries and attractive benefits.
Xiang Qi, Secretary of the Party Committee at the Wuxi Medical College of Jiangnan University, outlined the college’s disciplinary structure, its distinctive approach to talent development, the profile of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral graduates, as well as the quality of its education and its employment‑oriented focus. She noted that, in response to the evolving landscape of medical‑school graduate employment, the college is actively encouraging students to take root at the grassroots level and serve local communities. With a strong pool of high‑caliber applicants, the college hopes to establish targeted collaborations with Wuxi Haijia Hospital to cultivate and place highly qualified, practice‑oriented professionals, thereby fostering greater retention of graduates in Wuxi.
Following in-depth discussions, both parties have identified several concrete areas of cooperation: Wuxi Haijia Hospital will soon participate in the on-campus recruitment event for the Class of 2027 at Wuxi Medical College. In addition, leveraging the hospital’s expertise in healthcare, rehabilitation, and elderly care, the two sides will collaborate on university student volunteer services, enriching students’ practical experience and creating greater opportunities for mutual career alignment in the future.
Through this research and communication, Wuxi Haijia Hospital gained a deeper understanding of the applicant pool among the Class of 2027 graduates from the Wuxi Medical College of Jiangnan University, thereby broadening its talent‑acquisition channels. Moving forward, the hospital will continue to strengthen its exchanges and cooperation with the Wuxi Medical College, actively participating in its talent‑development and recruitment initiatives, and providing robust human‑resource support for the hospital’s high‑quality growth.
