The Department of Dentistry provides comprehensive care for diseases of the oral and maxillofacial regions, encompassing subspecialties such as operative dentistry and endodontics, periodontics, oral mucosal disorders, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry, while integrating treatment, restorative procedures, and preventive care. Its scope of practice includes dental caries, pulpitis, and apical periodontitis; gingivitis and periodontitis; oral mucosal conditions such as stomatitis and lichen planus; extraction of impacted wisdom teeth, management of small maxillofacial lesions, and alveolar surgical procedures; restoration of tooth defects through fillings and prosthetic rehabilitation; diagnosis and treatment of primary and permanent teeth in children; and preliminary orthodontic assessments for malocclusion. The department also offers imaging studies, including panoramic radiographs, to accurately evaluate dental and alveolar bone pathologies.

In the fields of dental and endodontic care, we offer fillings and root canal treatments to preserve natural teeth; in periodontics, we provide scaling and comprehensive periodontal therapy to control gingival bleeding and prevent periodontal recession. Our surgical services include wisdom tooth extraction and removal of small soft tissue lesions. For children, we address decayed primary teeth and retained primary teeth, while also conducting oral health education on caries prevention. In addition, we provide prosthetic rehabilitation to address tooth loss and impaired masticatory function. The department places great emphasis on preventive oral health education, offering guidance on proper brushing techniques and flossing, and promoting the importance of regular dental check-ups. Patients experiencing toothache, gum bleeding, tooth mobility, recurrent oral ulcers, wisdom tooth swelling or pain, or tooth defects are encouraged to seek care at our Department of Dentistry.
