On the afternoon of August 26 and the morning of August 27, Ji Hairong, President of Hygia Medical Group, paid a visit to Wuxi Hygia Hospital to inspect its operations. On the afternoon of the 27th, he accompanied a delegation of leaders from Binhu District of Wuxi City and the Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort (Mashan Subdistrict) on a fact-finding tour of the hospital, during which they exchanged views on the hospital’s operational and developmental progress.

Anchor the three-tier objectives and consolidate the foundations for development.

President Ji Hairong issued clear directives on the hospital’s future development strategy. She emphasized that Wuxi Haijia Hospital should plan its growth in line with the scale of a Grade III hospital, adopt a long-term perspective, and strengthen its foundational capabilities. In light of the current realities—namely, the limited resident population and a relatively small patient base within the service area of the Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort (Mashan Subdistrict)—President Ji underscored that the hospital must first fortify its internal strengths, with a particular focus on talent management and the ongoing enhancement of medical staff’s professional expertise, thereby laying a solid foundation for sustained, long-term development.

Deeply cultivate discipline development and build distinctive brand identities.

President Ji Hairong fully commended the hospital’s groundbreaking achievements in discipline development. She noted that the Department of Orthopedics (Hand Surgery) has, thanks to its exceptional expertise in correcting congenital hand and foot deformities in children, attracted pediatric patients from across the country, including many international cases, thereby demonstrating the hospital’s strong capabilities and potential to establish a distinctive specialty brand. She urged the hospital to further intensify its efforts, proactively recruit leading specialists and expert teams with specialized skills, and systematically develop each specialty as a priority, ensuring sustained progress and the emergence of disciplines with clear professional distinctiveness.

Focusing on the integration of medical and elderly care, we deliver high-quality, specialized services.

President Ji Hairong emphasized the need to accelerate the integration of medical and elderly‑care services. She noted that the hospital has been approved for a nursing home project and will, in the future, leverage the deep integration of its medical resources with elderly‑care services to provide residents of the Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort (Mashan Subdistrict) and surrounding areas with comprehensive, integrated “medical, nursing, and elderly‑care” services. At the same time, President Ji set forth clear directives for the development of the Hemodialysis Center, stressing the importance of closely relying on the professional guidance and resource support of the Group’s Hemodialysis Business Unit to ensure thorough clinical management and robust service delivery for patients undergoing hemodialysis and other forms of renal replacement therapy.

Embrace cutting-edge technologies and unleash the momentum of innovation.

President Ji Hairong commended Wuxi Haijia Hospital for the progress it has made in the clinical application of cutting-edge medical technologies. She noted that emerging technologies such as brain–computer interfaces and intelligent ultrasound diagnostics have yielded promising results in the hospital’s clinical trials, underscoring its proactive approach to adopting innovative solutions. She encouraged the hospital to continue leveraging the Group’s resources, pressing ahead in areas like smart diagnostics and precision medicine, thereby harnessing technology to enhance its capacity to deliver high‑quality healthcare services.

During a field visit accompanied by leaders from Binhu District of Wuxi City and the Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort (Mashan Subdistrict), President Ji Hairong outlined Haijia Medical Group’s development journey and its current nationwide hospital network. Through organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and hospital partnerships, the Group now operates a network of 18 comprehensive hospitals—centered on oncology—in 13 cities across eight provinces in China. She highlighted that, following the acquisition of medical insurance accreditation in July, Wuxi Haijia Hospital has entered full operational phase. Looking ahead, guided by the Group’s strategic vision, the hospital will remain committed to a pragmatic, specialty‑focused development approach, continuously enhancing its clinical expertise and service quality, thereby contributing to the high‑quality advancement of healthcare in Mashan and the surrounding region.
